Nissan Site Targets Hispanics

Nissan North America Inc., maker of Nissan and Infiniti cars, launched Nissan en Espanol, a Spanish-language site for U.S. Hispanics modeled after the automaker's English version.

Available at, the site will offer features such as a dealer locator, ownership information and content on vehicles. Nissan is the latest Japanese-owned automaker after American Honda to tailor a site for Hispanics, the nation's fastest-growing ethnic segment.

"The Hispanic market represents a significant portion of our customer base, and we want to provide the right tools to help our customers gain easy access to Nissan products and information," Samuel Lopez Jr., manager of Hispanic interactive marketing at Los Angeles-based Nissan North America, said in a statement.
