Microsoft teams up with Cactus Commerce
E-commerce software company Cactus Commerce has entered a long-term strategic partnership with Microsoft Corp. to support Microsoft's Commerce Server platform.
The companies will jointly deliver platform enhancements and complementary service accelerators focused on technology and industry deployment scenarios.
Microsoft is increasing investments in Commerce Server, the company's leading server for creating e-commerce services. It offers the ability to integrate with internal and partner applications, manage and share business data, provide customers and partners with Web-based, self-service through access to order status and inventory availability and exchange, and aggregate product catalog information across a business and from trading partners.
