Marriott Takes Off With SkyMall for Rewards Program
The deal also lets Marriott members receive 10 points for every dollar spent on SkyMall.com or through credit card purchases from the offline catalog.
The partnership follows a promotion that allowed Marriott members to redeem points on SkyMall during the Christmas shopping season.
SkyMall's flagship marketing vehicle is its in-flight catalog, which the company claims is available on more than 73 percent of domestic flights, reaching roughly 540 million domestic travelers annually.
Marriott Rewards has more than 60 partnerships and offers big-ticket loyalty rewards, including televisions, bicycles, computers, digital camcorders, motorized scooters, watches, golf clubs and DVD players.
