Home improvement retail giant The Home Depot has released its first-ever holiday catalog.

Five million Home Depot customers will receive the 68-page Holiday Inspirations catalog featuring more than 250 items that include power tools, small appliances, ceiling fans and lawn equipment. The catalog will be featured on Home Depot's Web site, www.homedepot.com.

The catalog will begin arriving in homes around Nov. 19.

Purchases may be made via a toll-free number or shopping the Web site. Many of the items ordered through the catalog and www.homedepot.com can be delivered in an orange and white Home Depot gift box.

"We're going after the gift business in a big way," John Costello, executive vice president of merchandising and marketing for The Home Depot, said in a statement.

Power tools are featured prominently. They include the new RIDGID 18-volt Cordless Drill ($199) on the front cover. The book includes items unavailable in Home Depot stores. Items available only via catalog or Web site include an expanded assortment of small appliances from Cuisinart, a selection of Home Depot children's books and toys, a sampling of NASCAR-themed items and a collection of sports-themed grill covers and tool accessories.

The book also contains an insert with 16 stickers, allowing recipients to flag their favorite items.
