Greenzer partners with Backcountry, Body Glove

Share this content:, a Web site and shopping engine designed to promote environmentally friendly products, has signed partnership agreements with, an online retailer of outdoor and backcountry gear; and Body Glove, an aggregator of water sports equipment.

Under terms of the agreements, each retailer will give product data to Greenzer on a recurring basis. Greenzer will then evaluate the products to see if they meet its minimum green standards and, if so, will post the products to their catalog.

“These companies have been actively engaged in greening their operations, and we're excited to add their products to our exhaustive catalogue of quality, eco-friendly, consumer goods,” said Jeremy Arditi, president and founder of Greenzer, in a statement.

Greenzer filters products based on green attributes, the manufacturer's overall environmental practices and key environmental labels and certifications.  It receives a cost-per-click fee for each consumer it sends to a retailer's site.

“Our partnerships with online merchants give them additional visibility in the crowded Internet marketplace,” Arditi added.
