DM News Invites Submissions for Interactive Technology Guide
Each brief will contain details on why the featured marketer is using that interactive tool and how, results achieved, the previous technology used, other marketers using it and contact information of the technology vendor.
"The goal is to give marketers and retailers an idea of the interactive technology options available to them and used by their peers," said DM News executive editor Mickey Alam Khan. "Marketers and retailers talking about what worked for them carry serious weight and bear consideration."
Alam Khan is writing and editing the issue. Technology firms can contact him at email@example.com with suitable marketer or retailer candidates who will agree to a brief interview. Please mention "Interactive guide candidate" in the e-mail's subject header. Interviews will be concluded by Feb. 13.
Sectors covered in the guide include marketing technologies related to search, e-mail, ad serving, affiliate, Web content management, Web design, RSS, blogs, podcasting, CRM, database, Web page testing, data services, campaign management and execution, and online publishing.
Also part of the guide are technologies pertaining to Web analytics, mobile media, Web hosting, spam prevention, ad measurement, instant messaging, reporting, online gaming, channel integration, word of mouth, online lead generation, video on demand, Internet broadcasting and rich media.
On the e-commerce side, online retailers using merchandising, order management and fulfillment, Web design, hosting, live chats, offer testing, reporting and payment technologies will be featured in the guide.
"I may have missed out something," Alam Khan said, "but I don't want marketers to."
