Chadwick's of Boston has kicked off its National Teacher of the Year Award Program for 2001. The program, which recognizes teachers for their accomplishments, is celebrating its fifth anniversary.

The cataloger will place announcements of the program in its summer 2001 catalog and at its Web site. The winner will be announced in late summer and will be featured in an upcoming catalog.

"A valuable target audience for Chadwick's of Boston is teachers," said Debbie Weisberg, spokeswoman for the West Bridgeport, MA, catalog. "We found that they utilize our products and merchandise and we wanted to do something that [recognizes] them."
