Acxiom Introduces Opticx 2.0

CHICAGO -- Acxiom Corp. has released Opticx 2.0, an expanded version of its data analysis process. The announcement came at the Direct Marketing Association's fall show here.


According to Acxiom, Little Rock, AR, the new version has features that allow companies to get a snapshot of the quality of their data, compare that quality against industry benchmarks and calculate their projected return on investment by correcting their data quality issues.


Bruce Carroll, Acxiom marketing leader, said that chief among the features of Opticx 2.0 is the Acxiom Data Quality Index, a benchmark score that boils down the more than 40 metrics used to analyze data quality into a single statistic. The index also compares the data quality of the customer's file to the average score of databases in that industry.


Other new features in Opticx 2.0 are:


· OpticxMath ROI Calculator, an interactive ROI calculator developed to accompany the Opticx 2.0 Report and allow recipients of the report to determine the estimated ROI to expect from using Acxiom products and services to correct the data quality problems identified.


· Restructured Reports, the Opticx 2.0 Report has been designed to make it easier for clients to understand the depth of the information provided and, if needed, the steps for improving their data.


· Acxiom introduced Opticx in July.
