Multichannel Effort Planned for Discount Health Card

National Health & Safety Corp., a health benefits marketer, will begin a campaign this quarter to market its HealthVIP healthcare discount card through U.S. Capital Inc., the companies said yesterday.


U.S. Capital will use outbound telemarketing, direct mail and e-mail. The firm will offer a private-label version of HealthVIP, a discount card that saves consumers 10 percent to 60 percent on health services, including prescription drugs, dental, chiropractic, hearing care, counseling and cosmetic surgery.


No further details on the upcoming campaign were disclosed.


U.S. Capital, Costa Mesa, CA, is a direct marketer of financial products. The company drops about 1 million direct mail pieces monthly and serves clients in the auto, travel and retail industries. National Health & Safety Corp., Austin, TX, provides discount healthcare products and services.
