MSN Shopping to Debut Post-Holiday Sale Online

MSN Shopping will launch a post-holiday sale online in the United States offering deep discounts from retailers like The Sports Authority, Kmart, Neiman Marcus, Spiegel and Staples.

The discounts, up to 50 percent, are available to visitors to MSN Shopping Dec. 26 through Jan. 9, the Redmond, WA, company said.

During that period, visitors will have access to free personal shoppers live round-the-clock offering help on purchase suggestions and finding items. Visitors also can use the MSN Shopping search function to compare prices, product reviews and features.

The MSN Shopping discount initiative comes soon after the National Retail Federation said 10 percent of all holiday-related sales take place in the week after Christmas. This includes consumers returning items or shopping for markdowns.
