MRM Worldwide has hired Oren I. Frank as the agency's first worldwide chief creative officer. He has served as co-CEO of McCann Erickson in Israel since 2003. The new position takes effect immediately.

The creation of the new post was the culmination of a three-year process, in which MRM integrated all its worldwide agencies into a single international company.

“A lot of digital agencies don't normally have a worldwide creative leader,” said Kathy Sampey, director of communications for MRM Worldwide. “But, because digital agencies are trying to become more lead branding agencies to be able to create brands online, and because we handle so many multinational accounts, we felt we needed somebody with Oren's expertise who could lead us in being an agency that does branding at various touchpoints, including digital.”

Frank will oversee agencies in each region of the MRM network. Each region — and, in some cases, each office — has its own creative director; Frank will work with each of these to guide all creative.
