MRM taps Starr as chief people officer

McCann Worldgroup's MRM Worldwide has named Bradley Starr as the direct marketing agency's chief people officer, a title rarely used in the industry.

Mr. Starr is tasked with the overall working environment for MRM's 2,500 employees. He will handle recruitment, professional development and training programs, compensation and employee benefits, team-building efforts and corporate communications.

MRM, New York, offers services such as customer and digital marketing strategy, direct and interactive marketing, creative and branded content and Web design.

Mr. Starr joined MRM in December 2000 when his Miller Starr agency was bought.
