Movielink.com Debuts Shopping Area

Internet movie guide Movielink.com (www.movielink.com), New York, is expanding its e-commerce capability by launching a shopping area on its site with Amazon.com, CDnow and Moletown Studio Store. The site will offer movie soundtracks, movie books and other memorabilia.

Consumers will have one-click access to purchase merchandise for new releases. For example, if someone is looking for show times and other information on "Titanic," they can be linked directly to a Movielink.com merchandise page provided by CDnow to purchase the film's soundtrack, a page provided by Moletown to purchase the movie's official poster and a page provided by Amazon.com to buy books about the making of the movie.
