More Circulation for More

Meredith Corp.'s More magazine, which targets women in their 40s and 50s, will raise its rate base to 1.1 million with the September issue. The circulation jump is More's third since February 2004.

The magazine was founded in 1998. More started with a circulation of 320,000, which was raised to 1 million in September. Reader demand and circulation marketing are said to have spurred the rate base hike at the 10-times-a-year More.

On the advertising side, More registered a 14 percent increase in pages to 395 this May versus 341 for the same month last year. New advertisers include Target, Citigroup, Wachovia and new Ford Motor Co. products.
