Montreal CRM Firm Snares Financial Services Contract

Customer intelligence provider Sand Technology won a $6.2 million Canadian contract to assist a European financial services firm with its direct marketing campaigns, the Montreal company said yesterday.

Further details about the client were not disclosed. Sand's ClarityBlue CRM analytics division will host the client's data on the Sand Analytic Server, which can integrate information from a data warehouse, operational systems and legacy databases into a single, indexed repository.

ClarityBlue will help the client shorten the time to carry out direct mail and telemarketing campaigns and assist in targeting prospects and existing customers for credit card, savings and loan offers. Sand said the new client acquisition marks an effort to expand its customer analytics business from the mobile telecom industry in the United Kingdom to the financial services industry.
