Monster taps BBDO as AOR

BBDO Worldwide has won global creative advertising responsibilities for Monster Worldwide, parent company of career site Monster.com.

Atmosphere BBDO û BBDO's North America digital agency - and BBDO New York will be the main divisions of BBDO to work on upcoming Monster campaigns.

Monster enlisted BBDO to expand its global footprint, while the job search company restructures, rebuilds and focuses on building brand trust. Trust has been a focal point for Monster since a breach of its multi-million name database was reported last month.

BBDO's work for monster will cover a range of channels. Its first campaign is slated to launch in early 2008, at a time when the job search season is traditionally at a high point.

BBDO Worldwide, New York, is a part of Omnicom Group Inc. The agency's other clients include Best Buy, Diet Pepsi Max, Starbucks coffee partnership businesses and Hertz.

Monster's former agency of record was Brand Content of Boston.
