MoneyForMail.com to Offer Credit Data

MoneyForMail.com, Palo Alto, CA, on Aug. 10 said it was preparing to offer a new service for marketers of financial services products that will deliver advertising messages to consumers based on their credit profiles.


The company is in the process of trying to obtain written permission from its 300,000 customers to access their credit reports. Advertisers will be able to use the credit data and other profile information to identify what types of consumers they want to target. MoneyForMail.com will send e-mail solicitations to consumers who meet the profile.


Trans Union Corp., Chicago, will provide MoneyForMail.com with credit reports and credit scores.
