Android beating rest of market in ad requests, according to AdMob

Two months ago, DMNews looked at the mobile and e-commerce war brewing between Apple and Google.

Ad requests from Android devices reportedly grew 56% between December 2009 and January 2010, according to data from AdMob. Overall growth in smartphone requests grew 24% during the same time. Google's acquisition of AdMob is pending approval.
