Mindy Meads departs Victoria's Secret Direct

Mindy Meads, CEO/president of Victoria's Secret Direct, has left the company after less than a year on the job, parent company Limited Brands announced yesterday.

Pia Ferrario, an executive vice president for Victoria's Secret has been named CEO to lead Victoria's Secret Direct along with Rick Jackson, chief operating officer. Ms. Ferrario has been with Victoria's Secret Direct for 18 years.

Ms. Meads joined Limited Brands, Columbus, OH, in May. That occurred soon after she left her position as Lands' End CEO in August 2005 and less than two years after being promoted to the role. Ms. Meads had been with Lands' End for a total of 11 years.

In other Limited Brands news, Chuck Turlinski, CEO of Limited Stores, also has decided to leave the business to pursue other opportunities. Linda Heasley and Avra Myers will serve as co-leaders of Limited Stores and will report to Jay Margolis, president of the Apparel Group. Ms. Heasley has been promoted to president/chief operating officer for Limited Stores and Ms. Myers to president/general merchandise manager for Limited Stores.
