Mimeo.com Buys More Xeikon Printers

Mimeo.com last month announced that its online overnight printing and delivery service in the United States would use Xeikon's color printers.

Terms of the agreement were not released.

Speed, high resolution and Internet capability were the key reasons why Mimeo.com, New York, chose Xeikon's machines, according to a statement released by both companies.

If demand increases this year, Mimeo.com said that it would further expand its stock of presses with Xeikon's sheet-fed digital color printer.

With the deal, Xeikon, an international firm with U.S. headquarters in Wood Dale, IL, adds a client to its list of more than 30 print distributing companies in more than 40 countries.
