Millennium Direct to Buy Call Center Firm
DRTV marketing firm Millennium Direct signed a letter of intent to buy Inteleservices Inc., a privately held call center provider, for $5 million, Millennium said yesterday.Millennium will pay for the purchase over a three-year period with cash and other considerations. The acquisition lets Millennium provide clients with services in an important aspect of the direct-response field as well as give Inteleservices a new base of clients, Millennium said in a statement.
Inteleservices launched in 1998 and operates call centers in Tampa, FL, and St. Catherines, Ontario, with 144 seats at each site. The company services clients in the telecommunications, satellite television, financial services and political sectors.
