Microsoft Grants Sitel $90M European ContractSitel Corp. yesterday announced a three-year, $90 million contract to provide customer service and sales support for Microsoft in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany and France.
Since September 2002, Sitel has provided sales and service communications for Microsoft customers in the European nations via telephone, fax, mail and Internet. Under the contract, Sitel is the preferred outsourced customer support and sales provider for Microsoft in the region.
To support Microsoft, the teleservices agency is using three contact centers in Dublin, Ireland; Paris; and Krefeld, Germany. Sitel is using a centralized routing system and voice over Internet protocol technology to route calls to the appropriate contact centers.
