Michael C. Fina Expands E-Mail Use

Luxury goods catalog retailer Michael C. Fina is ramping up its e-mail marketing program after a Winterholiday push brought in new customers.

The company is working with Eagle Email, Willow Grove, PA, a division of direct marketing agency NetworkDirect Inc., to generate new business. Michael C. Fina will also use Eagle Response, Eagle's response management software, to create a library of automated responses for quick turnaround in customer service.

"They needed a provider that could host and maintain their permission e-mail database, and send promotional messages on a regular basis to their top customers," Steve Emory, CEO of Eagle Email, said in a statement.

Earlier this month, Eagle Email announced it was confirmed as the sole e-mail services provider to Michael C. Fina, which sells jewelry, china and tableware.

Michael C. Fina first used e-mails over the Winter holidays. While numbers were not disclosed, the retailer said the e-mails attracted customers who would not have come in through its flagship store on New York's Fifth Avenue or the catalog.
