MessageMedia Inc., a provider of permission-based e-mail services, yesterday renewed its relationship with Intuit Inc., a provider of tax preparation and small-business software.

The company said yesterday that it will help Intuit create and deliver opt-in e-mail marketing campaigns, online surveys, Web hosting and targeted messaging.

MessageMedia is working with Intuit's Quicken.com division to deliver news and financial information to customers, and is also working with Intuit's QuickBooks, Quicken TurboTax and Quicken Loans divisions.

"Intuit understands that e-mail marketing is a highly effective way to meet its special requirements of one-to-one customer relations, acquisition, new and additional purchases, scalability for high-volume campaigns and tight scheduling requirements for consumer newsletters," said Larry Jones, MessageMedia's president/CEO.
