Merkle hires Justin Bruton as director of marketing content

Database marketing agency Merkle announced that it has hired Justin Bruton as director of marketing content.

In this new position, Lanham, MD-based Merkle, said Mr. Bruton will drive the development of original research and content by tracking, analyzing and responding to the latest developments and dynamics within the rapidly evolving database marketing industry.

Mr. Bruton brings to the role more than 10 years of experience with leading analytical firms. Prior to joining Merkle, Bruton held the position of Senior Advisor at Forrester Research in Cambridge, MA.

There, he oversaw the creation of the firm's Database Marketing Council program, which provided original research to member organizations that included Fortune 500 companies. Earlier, Bruton served in a program management role at Forrester and as a research analyst at Associates for International Research, also located in Cambridge.
