MeritDirect renames list division to emphasize range of services

MeritDirect will rebrand its list management and interactive services division as the “data and media services” unit, the company said June 17.

The White Plains, N.Y.-based company said in a statement that it is renaming the unit to emphasize the range of its multichannel offerings. MeritDirect offers services including lead and demand generation, email and online advertising, data licensing and integrated databases.

The company also said this week that it won list management responsibilities for the New York Daily News. In March, SourceMedia hired MeritDirect to manage 45 lists and databases owned by financial publisher SourceMedia.

MeritDirect's client roster also includes NBC, Pitney Bowes and Sprint.

A MeritDirect representative could not be immediately reached for comment.
