MeritDirect offers online shopping

MeritDirect has launched a new Web site that allows users to place orders, run counts and view data cards through an e-commerce platform.

The redesigned site connects users to multiple divisions of the MeritDirect business, including list brokerage and customer acquisition and list management, and also offers resources such as whitepapers.

“We wanted to make this a destination and community for our clients and customers, so we had to revamp the design and aesthetics but also the functionality,” said Rob Sanchez, president of List Management and Interactive Services for MeritDirect. “More of our business is becoming e-mail and online based, so we're really just keeping up with that with a site that represents a lot of those capabilities. We also wanted to make it more of a community site for our clients and customers.”

MeritDirect is not the first list company to offer online shopping: MelissaData offers its mailing lists online, and Millard Group supports e-mail ordering.

Clients of MeritDirect include BusinessWeek, CFO Magazine and United Business Media
