Meredith has named Martin Reidy president of Meredith Integrated Marketing, effective September 1. The former president and CEO of Publicis Modem & Dialog is also serving as EVP of Meredith's National Media Group and corporate VP of interactive strategy.

Reporting to Jack Griffin, president of the National Media Group, Reidy is working with other senior executives to develop long-term strategies for Meredith's media and marketing platforms.

He succeeds Wendy Riches, who the company has named chief strategy officer.

Meredith's offerings include custom publishing, digital, mobile, database and social marketing.

“Meredith has a strong, loyal base, and that demographic, especially the women's market, is highly sought after by advertisers,” Reidy said. “And the fact that they're also in television and publishing made me feel like it's a full circle of where I've been – strategy and M&A, as well as the marketing services side.”

Reidy has also served as president and CEO of R/GA, partner at management consultancy Bain & Co. and SVP of EMI Music.
