Gammas are women who enjoy making social connections and sharing information both in person and online. They are highly influential among their wide social circles. Since releasing its initial report, The Gamma Factor: Women and the New Social Currency, last August, Meredith has conducted further research on targeted Gamma segments and has developed a Gamma-focused marketing package. The company is also researching ways to reach Gamma women through social networking.
