Mercy College Adds DM to Degree Roster

The first direct marketing MS degree is taking applications for classes beginning in September at Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, New York.


Candidates can choose to study in class or over the Internet at http://merlin.mercynet.edu for $1,245 per credit for the 36-credit course that can be completed in one year and a half.


It offers elective courses in Internet marketing, e-commerce and international marketing, as well as foundation courses in the following areas: strategic media planning, testing, measurement and analysis, database marketing, customer service and fulfillment, the fundamentals of direct marketing and creative basics. It also covers ethics and legal issues.


It designed the program to be industry driven and surveyed a number of the top mailers and vendors to find out what subjects they wanted students to learn.
