It was a tale of two different outcomes last week for specialty gift multichannel merchants Sharper Image and Brookstone. Following years of declining sales, Sharper Image Corp. filed for bankruptcy protection under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
