MegaMarketing Purchases Aberdeen Marketing Inc.
In its third acquisition in two months, MegaMarketing, Tampa, FL, has acquired Aberdeen Marketing Inc., Atlanta.Founded in 1987, Aberdeen is a full-service marketing agency that provides creative, telemarketing direct mail and database services. Aberdeen's teleservices capabilities made it a particularly attractive acquisition target, MegaMarketing founder John Kelly said. Aberdeen's clients include Turner Broadcasting, Xerox Corp., and ExecuTrain Corp.
Aberdeen will keep its name and its Atlanta location. Its principals, Emery Ellinger and Don Muscolino will become equity partners in MegaMarketing.
MegaMarketing was formed last month through the acquisition of production company Genesis Direct Tampa Bay, FL, and direct marketing agency Control Group, Wilmington, DE,.
