MediQuick Launches DTC Campaign

MediQuick Services Inc., Houston, initiated a direct-to-consumer advertising campaign this month aimed at selling its benefits program, which is designed for people older than age 65 with diabetes.

The ads are running on broadcast and cable stations in the Houston and San Antonio markets. MediQuick's SureCare benefits package includes discounts on pharmaceuticals as well as a selection of supplies used by diabetics.

MediQuick offers to complete all insurance and Medicare paperwork regarding any products ordered by people who sign up for the program in response to the ad. Shipping is offered free of charge.

The campaign is scheduled to run through the end of the year. MediQuick expects to roll out a national DTC campaign next year.
