Mediation Board Calls UPS, Pilots Back for Talks

After more than two months in "indefinite recess," the National Mediation Board has called United Parcel Service and the Independent Pilots Association back to Washington, DC, for two days of intensive negotiations, according to the IPA.


Talks between the two sides are scheduled for Sept. 15-16 at the National Mediation Board headquarters. Negotiations between UPS and IPA opened in October 2002; mediation began this past August in Cincinnati.
