MediaLinq can manage clients' databases and documents and apply them to its high-speed e-mail and fax technology. Or, clients can manage their databases and documents and send them via the Web to MediaLinq.
Either way, clients can order e-mail and fax campaigns from a company desktop via the Internet. The system also allows clients to track campaign results at a Web link set up by MediaLinq.
MediaLinq's system automatically tries to resend returned e-mail and faxes. Clients only pay for the number of messages sent successfully. Pricing varies according to volume and frequency of mailings.
Deborah Tanaka-Laude, vice president of marketing at MediaLinq, said online mortgage firms are her company's most common client type, although it recently has been reaching out to other financial sectors as well as travel, publishing and entertainment business-to-business markets.
