MediaFlex Will Hire Staff, Open Offices

MediaFlex.com, Santa Clara, CA, a company that makes e-commerce technology for the digital printing market, announced plans this month to open two new offices and beef up the staff of its business development and sales teams.

The firm said that one facility, to be located in Pittsburgh, will house the company's central business development and sales offices. Employees at the location will oversee sales on the East Coast, in the South and in the Chicago area. Explaining its choice of Pittsburgh, MediaFlex cited a talent pool in the area that is well-versed in online media.

The other office, to be in Frankfurt, Germany, will handle all European sales activity for MediaFlex. The company already has what it calls "regional business development specialists" in several areas of the United States.

MediaFlex said executives feel it is important to have locations near the "growing number of East Coast and European digital printers." The company's online service is designed to help digital printers manage, distribute and fulfill on-demand print orders.

The company added that it expects to increase the size of both the Pittsburgh and Frankfurt offices "significantly" over the next year. A separate customer service center is slated to open sometime in the same period.
