Media Metrix Launches Q-Metrix

Media Metrix, New York, an Internet and digital media measurement company, has launched a new data source, Q-Metrix, that it believes will help advertising agencies and media companies to better spend advertising budgets, based on more competitive analysis.


The new data source links Internet audience ratings data with other behavioral data about consumer lifestyles and behavior such as other media consumption, demographics and product usage patterns.


The firm (www.mediametrix.com) also offers a Q-Metrix report, allowing customers the facility to combine and customize data across 500 sites and properties using measures for unique visitors, percent reach, percent composition, index and demographics across a variety of media consumption patterns such as how many hours spent watching television, listening to the radio, reading the newspaper and participating in various leisure activities.
