Media Concepts Plugs Into DoubleClick

Media Concepts Inc. yesterday said it will begin running banner ads across DoubleClick Inc.'s advertising network of Internet sites in November.


Media Concepts, Temecula, CA, expects the deal to attract online consumers to its Homtheater.com site during the upcoming holiday season, the company said.


"Hom" in the company's domain name stands for house operations management as the site offers high-definition and flat-screen televisions, as well as customized electronics orders.


The deal marks Media Concepts new commitment to nationally branding itself across the Internet and other media as a direct channel for electronic products, said Erik Vidrio, president of the 8-year-old firm.


DoubleClick, New York, signed Media Concepts to its Media Match program, which uses such high-traffic sites as CNN.com, iVillage.com, ABC Networks, HotJobs.com and TheGlobe.com. Financial terms of the agreement were not announced.
