McCain to Host First-ever Webcast Presidential Fundraiser

Presidential hopeful John McCain said yesterday he's continuing his use of the Internet as a vote catcher by hosting the first-ever presidential fundraiser live via Webcast at 9 p.m. Feb. 10 at www.mccaininteractive.com. By going to the site and registering with a minimum donation of $100, users are sent a password and instructions on how to view the event. During the live Webcast, supporters can send instant messages for McCain to answer, chat with other viewers and have access to statistical graphs, analysis and photographs from the campaign trail. Webcasting technology is being supported by Intervu Inc.
