MBS, a fulfillment, database and interactive marketing solutions provider, said yesterday that it expanded its mailing services capabilities through the acquisition of Suffolk Addressing Service Inc.

Suffolk Addressing Service, founded in 1971, specializes in automated, computer-driven ink-jet letter shopping as well as projects requiring hand assembly.

The company has moved to MBS' 90,000-square-foot facility in Central Islip, NY, but will continue to operate under its own name. Company founder and president Annette Hoerning will continue to manage the business on a daily basis.
