MBNA, Military.com Co-brand Credit Card

Military.com and MBNA America Bank are co-branding a credit card after the two firms signed a deal earlier this month.

Military.com, which has 80 million military-oriented members, will offer the card at its finance channel. Direct mail and television ads through the A&E Television network will also be used to promote the cards, a spokeswoman for Military.com, Arlington, VA, said.

The military site offers its members free information on career transition, Veterans Affairs loans, financial planning, the GI Bill, travel, relocation and other areas of interest. Also, military clothing is sold at the site.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
