MasterCard Users Can Swipe a Free Year of Yahoo Music

Yahoo Music and MasterCard debuted a summer promotion for purchasing Yahoo's Music Unlimited subscription service with a credit card.

When U.S. MasterCard, Purchase, NY, cardholders use their cards from now through Oct. 4, 2006, to buy a one-year subscription of Yahoo Music Unlimited, they will automatically receive an additional year for free.

The service lets users manage play lists and transfer tracks to compatible portable devices.

Yahoo Music, Sunnyvale, CA has a catalog of more than 2 million songs that users can share with other subscribers through Yahoo Messenger at http://music.yahoo.com.

Yahoo and MasterCard will continue to develop seasonal promotions, as well as online and offline marketing initiatives to drive card usage, awareness and new subscribers to Yahoo. Music Unlimited.
