MasterCard Debuts Business-Focused Web Site

MasterCard International has introduced a Web site targeted to business customers of financial institutions called MasterCard Business, which highlights the credit card issuer's corporate payment services.

The Web site, at www.mastercardbusiness.com, features information about small business, corporation and government sector credit card and payment services. The site offers a "Card Finder" service that lets users easily compare credit card services and options from various financial institutions.

The Card Finder compiles data based on information provided about things such as years in business and the average amount spent on everyday travel and entertainment. The service lists financial institutions willing to serve these needs and offers an online application. It also provides member institutions qualified lead referrals, MasterCard said.

The MasterCard Business site also features in its Resource Center case histories, white papers and implementation guides, which are designed to help midsize to large corporations and public sector organizations identify products and services they can use to improve the management and control of expenses. Also included is the "RFP Guide," which helps companies understand the request-for-proposal process.
