Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia yesterday announced the expansion of its Signature collection with a planned spring debut of a new line of furniture.

The home furnishings media, catalog and e-commerce firm partnered with 113-year-old Bernhardt Furniture Co. from western North Carolina. It will debut with two lines of furniture.

Called the Martha Stewart Signature Furniture with Bernhardt, the line of 200 SKUs will be available at select retailers nationwide in April.

Martha Stewart's maiden collection is inspired by the founder's Lily Pond home on Long Island in New York and Skylands, off the coast of Maine. The furniture is designed to blend with other Martha Stewart Signature products like paints, flooring and decorative fabrics.
