MarketWatch Buys 24/7's Open AdStream

24/7 Real Media said yesterday that MarketWatch.com Inc. has purchased and implemented Open AdStream to locally manage online advertising inventory across the flagship CBS MarketWatch Web site, representing one of the largest deals for 24/7 Real Media's Open AdStream.

Features include session-style and reach-style campaign serving.

"Open AdStream's scalability was a very important selling point for us," said Scot McLernon, MarketWatch.com executive vice president of sales and marketing. "At peak times, when the news from Wall Street drives millions of visitors to our pages, we'll be looking to Open AdStream to help us manage those traffic spikes as well as the ongoing maximization of our advertising inventory."
