MarketSwitch, Chordiant in OEM Deal

MarketSwitch Corp. and Chordiant Software yesterday announced an original equipment manufacturing relationship last week through which Chordiant will sell Marketing Optimizer, an intelligent marketing decisioning engine powered by Marketswitch's optimization technology.


The product is immediately available as part of Chordiant's integrated suite of CRM software.


The companies said Marketing Optimizer applies advanced mathematics to determine the optimal mix of offers, customers and channels that will maximize profit, meet the business' real-world constraints and satisfy individual customer preferences.


The software evaluates the economic effect of many combinations of customers, offers and channels, taking into account business constraints such as maximum budget, minimum sales and target cost per acquisition.
