“My first job was as a broadcast journalist. I actually studied journalism in college. Three days after graduation I started as a television report at a tiny little NBC station in Virginia…covering things like hurricanes and fires. I got out of that business after three or four years, but what it taught me, number one, was a sense of urgency. We had daily deadlines. And it taught me to move quickly and think fast—something that's actually very important to marketers in today' social media world.”—Amy Bohutinsky
