TeleTech Gets Banco Santander Contract

Banco Santander, a Latin American financial institution with $335 billion in assets, entered into a multi-year agreement for customer service with teleservices provider TeleTech Holdings, Denver.


TeleTech will provide support for Banco Santander's home banking and credit card, equipment, machine and vehicle leasing and real estate mortgage businesses. Financial terms were not disclosed.


TeleTech's Brazilian unit will provide investment management services, support Banco Santander's life insurance products and perform administrative services including customer account maintenance. TeleTech added a new contact center as well as 1,200 new employees to its Brazilian unit to support the Banco Santander contract.
