Stiel Announces New Direct Marketing Company

Former Tosco executive Daniel Stiel said yesterday that he has formed Stiel Direct, an integrated direct marketing services company with offices in Arizona and California.


The company will target companies in the hi-tech, e-commerce, financial services, telecommunications, biotechnology, entertainment and retailing industries.


"Effective direct marketing strategy and implementation is critical to the success of businesses operating in the volatile new economy," Stiel said. "There is an acute shortage of topnotch direct marketing talent, especially in high-technology companies. We're going to help fill that need."


The company's headquarters will be in Scottsdale, AZ, with additional sales offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Stiel Direct also plans to open offices in Chicago and New York.
