Scholastic offers Websert, e-mail programs with Millard

Bookseller and publisher Scholastic Inc. has two new online programs to reach book buyers and e-mail recipients.

The Scholastic at Home Websert Program and the Scholastic at Home Welcome E-mail Program are managed by AM/Direct, the multichannel media division of Millard Group, Peterborough, NH.

Marketers can place an ad and company URL on every order confirmation page, with the chance to be included in 1 million transactions done yearly at shop.scholastic.com The Scholastic at Home Websert Program is available at a rate of $36/M. Banners can be 468 pixels by 60 pixels or 120 by 200 pixels.

The Scholastic at Home Welcome E-mail Program includes a marketer's offer with e-mail blasts targeting new subscribers to the Scholastic family of products. It has a circulation of 2.5 million a year and is available at 26$/M.

Scholastic at Home is a 6-year-old Internet extension and marketplace for the well-known publishing brand of educational and entertainment titles for children. Scholastic at Home reaches 6.3 million families. It reaches buyers direct at home, through proprietary school-based clubs and continuity programs. Programs starting this fall include Build-A-Bear Workshop, Marvel Super Heroes and Baby Einstein.
